Standardising PAF validation

This term is often used when referring to updating a mailing list so it meets the postal services standards. This can improve misspellings and updating street names. In the UK this is achieved by comparing mailing lists with the latest Royal Mail Postal Address File (PAF). The PAF data is often expensive to obtain so middle-man organisations purchase the data to use for their clients and manage the standardising process.
