Suppression screening
This is a process where mailing list data is compared to the following types of databases to check that a mailing list is current and people are not incorrectly contacted:

- National Change of Address File (NCOA)
- Bereavement Register
- Mortascreen
- Universal Suppression Service
- Goneaway Suppression
- National Suppression File
- BT Osis
- The Telephone Preference Service (TPS)
- The Fax Preference Service (FPS)
- Mailing Preference Service
- National do not call registry
