The target audience or market is the people which mailings are intended for, for example a Garden Centre’s target audience would be people that enjoy gardening or subscribe to a gardening magazine.
A common mistake with marketing is that the target audience is forgotten, mailings should be created in the tone of voice and appeal to the target audience it is intended for.
